When you're a writer, there are some pieces you create that stick to you more than the others. Your small detailed poem could mean a lot more to you than your ten page short story about a dog and his owner. On this page, you'll find pieces I've written that I prefer more than my other works. This will include some emo poems and grade A comedy drabbles. Enjoy! (~˘▾˘)~
moon
Originally this was literally about the moon, but I wanted to change it around and make it symbolize a good friend or someone you don't realize you need until they leave. Said friend could be named Moon for all we know, but that just ruins the meaning of the poem. Moon means a lot to me since it's one of the best poems I've written and it's so simple.

four months without you
I went four months without a certain friend in my life. I don't like talking about it or explaining what exactly happened. I let out my emotions over it into some short poems and rants in my notes on my phone. It's almost like a diary, holding my thoughts through out the first four months of the year. I might go back and reword this one day, but it's fine for now. I did an audio too, so you can listen while you read or something.

reasons to live
Inspired by Matthew Gray Gubler's list of reasons to be alive and a Modern Baseball song, this is one of the few poems I've written that I am highly proud of. I am not one of sharing my writing on social media, but something about this poem caused me to post it everywhere (minus facebook, i don't need my aunt Karen commenting a bunch of question marks). I hope you like it as much as I do.
